Sledding in the Snow

One of my favorite activities by far is to spend time with the family and head up to the mountains. We loaded up and headed for a deserted logging road. We originally had two vehicles to get to our sledding spot but the road conditions were treacherous for the expedition so we condensed to one truck. Luckly, Laynes truck had enough clearance to climb over trees that had fallen across the road, as well as an expert driver to get us there. Anyways, we had a blast! So here's a little peek into our day.

Christmas Cookies & Rock Band

One of the annual traditions we have for our family is to make home made Christmas Cookies. Its hilarious watching the boys but a ton of frosting on the small little cookies. While the cookies were being prepared Rock Band Raged on in the living room.

Target Practice

Well... we finally made it to Oregon! It has already become a white Christmas! Today we went and shot a 22 riffle with my brother in-law and nephews up in the hills. I managed to take a few pictures of our little excursion.

So I got to tag along with Mary Jane Photography and get some shots of a shoot they were doing for an update on Janeys website. Check her site for an updated soon. It was fun watching Janey and Amy just be themselves while having a blast. Here's a little glimpse on what went on that day.

Alan & Melissa

After over of year of marriage both Alan and Melissa still only have a few shots of the two of them together so.... we decided to have some fun and get pics of the two of them. Just as the sun was going down we were hurrying to get the shots before it was dark.

Santa Cruz Island

I got to take some time off and actually set foot on to one of the Channel Islands. A few friends and I ventured on to Santa Cruz Island. Halfway through our day it began to rain. We were fortunately to able to find a shed to hide under to keep dry. It would be wonderful to go back again and check out more of the island. Here are a few shots of our day.

Lomelino Family

Before heading off for the dentist today I got to visit with Jason, Holly, Samuel, Hope, and Jeremiah. It was so much fun playing with the kids before officially trying to take some shots. Let's just say I felt like a kid again, not to mention I got all sweaty doing so. I hope that wasnt too much information. Anyhow, here what I got today.
